An interest in the world about me developed early on. Childhood curiosity provided the subjects for observation. At first, I sketched. In my adolescence, I discovered photography. First, it was my father’s camera. By the time I had a job, I bought my own. Never one for snapshots, I was more interested in capturing moments. Trying to capture the things that caught my fascination. To capture light, shapes, color, shade. To share what I saw with others when words failed.
To find something interesting to view, you simply need to look. It takes time to see. It is not something from the corner of your eye. Seeing is an intentional act. Stop and take the time to see.
This is not a commercial endeavor. This web site does not serve to sell prints. This is more of a journal and a vehicle for sharing. Many of the images are downscaled for the web, so if you would like one, please contact me and we’ll see what we can do.
There are some moments I have chosen to share. I hope you enjoy them.
